GoTo adalah perusahaan Indonesia hasil merger atau gabungan dari startup besar Gojek dan Tokopedia. Keduanya resmi bergabung dan mengumumkannya ke khalayak ramai pada 17 Mei 2021 di Jakarta. Bergabungnya unicorn terbesar di Indonesia ini memang menghebohkan banyak pihak. Setelah merger, valuasi dari kedunya menjadi begitu tinggi, mencapai US$ 18 miliar. Nilai tersebut didapatkan dari hasil putaran dana milik Gojek pada 2019 dan Tokopedia di awal 2020.

1. Backend Software Engineer
Job Description:
- Provide technical leadership in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.
- You will be deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and improving the software.
- You will deploy code daily and use data to drive our decisions while delivering software and analytics to consumers and dealers.
- You will own your projects and collaborate with fellow engineers and product partners as you solve interesting problems
- Write well-formatted modular code
- Compile and integrate changes with the project
- Implement unit tests and functional tests for their tasks
- Convert given high-level software design to low-level software design
- Use suitable data structures
- Perform, debug and fix bugs, competency in 1 programming language
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of software development experience (Fresh graduate is welcome)
- Coding skill in Go, Java, or similar object-oriented languages
- Experience in different databases. Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL(Elasticsearch, Cassandra)
- Passion for building customer value.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience developing a distributed system.
- Experience with web-services or service-oriented architectures.
2. Engineering Manager – Backend
Job Description:
- Lead multiple teams to build and establish scalable architecture and work on a committed team contributing to robust projects
- You’ll lead a multiple team of engineers to design, develop, and ship product features and improvements
- You’ll be partnering closely with the Product Team to evaluate the technical feasibility, release, and timely execution of features
- You’ll actively work with the Platform and other Engineering teams to incorporate components, services, and tools into your product; as well as, share components, services, and best practices in return
- You’ll actively work with the platform team to scale our Cloud Infrastructure
- People management responsibilities in terms of mentoring, teaching hard and soft skills, and managing their career path
- Nurture and manage software engineer leads to reach their short and long-term goals
- Lead software components development and customization for given carriers requirements, plan tasks, hold code and design reviews.
- Analyze the software engineering department’s performance based on KPIs and metrics and propose ways to improve them
- Review and approve the detailed designs.
- Supervise multiple teams in all aspects of the development including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration.
Requirements:
- 8+ Years of Overall Experience with Bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree in computer science with strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, data modelling, and OOP
- Preferred 4+ years of experience in Ad Tech – architecting and developing highly scalable distributed system
Can demonstrate deep mastery on three of these: ElasticSearch/Solr, Redis, RDBMS, Column-oriented DBMS, distributed queues - Handled projects with Big Data technologies
- Can quickly prototype and develop programs in two of these languages: Golang, Python, Java, Bash.
- Must have experience in using one or more of these: GCP, Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, or other automation and operationalizing distributed tech stack
- Preferred but not mandatory – experience with common ML platforms.
- Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills, able to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability
3. Senior Software Engineer – Backend
